I love making stuff for my kids to play with.
Felt is so easy to work with and I've used it a lot to make softies and playmats.
I also finally picked up the courage to attempt painting pegdolls which I had bought sometime back and fell in love with it. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Looking forward to more projects this year.
My kids have used these homemade playthings over and over in their play.
Just so much fun! Their imagination is limitless.
We've used those pegdolls together with the landscape playmat for learning.
And the wooden mushrooms have been used for counting while we did our Math.
Here's some other stuff that I made that we used for learning. The map is set to Asia with a little red dot to represent Singapore :)
