The week after Christmas, we read the story of The Three Wise Men.
And centered our activities around the theme 'Gifts'
It was a lovely book
with beautiful illustrations
by Tomie dePaola.
I prepared a copywork sheet for the kiddos to trace the words to 'We Three Kings' and a space to draw.
Then from the Christmas activity shelf was a find and match pairs of presents activity. They then proceeded to draw the presents to look exactly like the cards.
We made the three wise kings with ice cream sticks colored with paintsticks and decorated with ribbons/felt.
