Weekend Art for the kiddos

Following our theme for the week, this weekend's art project was a tree landscape.

I had the kids choose what background they would like and pick out paint colors for their painting. While their painted background was drying, they cut out the trees that they wanted for their landscape picture.

I helped the little one with the intricate cutting of the branches on her trees because it was too difficult for her.

The kids then glued their trees onto the painted backgrounds

and voila!

Easy, peasy art project done :)
