On the second & third weeks of Christmas

Our theme for the second week of Christmas learning was Christmas colors.

We also made some Christmas woven heart cards in red and green for our family in Singapore.

For Christmas week we had Gingerbread as our theme.

I made some gingerbread dough. The little one kept smelling it as she kneaded away and cut shapes with cookie cutters.

Someone gifted us a Christmas House and papa fixed it up as the parts were too small and difficult for the kiddos.

On Christmas day, we listened to the Christmas story, played with cutouts from the Gentle and Classical Christmas pack and did copywork page of Luke 2:11 (Habitat Schoolhouse). We made a stable with ice-cream sticks, using a free printable from brainymaze.com

On the church front, we had our usual celebration in church .

As a gift to the children in our community this year, I prepared activity booklets and a gift pack for the kids. Some homemade stickers (from The everyday planner www.stephaniegroves.com ), snack, Jesus is Born booklet and the activity pack.

I baked some cookies and received a cookie decorating pack from a friend. We ate some of the cookies and the rest were gifts for the youth in our church.
